Old iboga shrubs are being cut down, and even young ones are harvested too early just to make a quick profit. Different plant variants are often mixed together and sold dishonestly, misleading people and depriving them of what they were promised. These practices are even carried out in the name of the Iboga Spirit — which is absolutely unacceptable and goes completely against the truth and sacred power this master plant represents.

This must stop. These practices are a disgrace to the iboga world and must be fully addressed and eliminated. Things have to change.

The foundation also stands for conducting random checks and lab testing of samples. If a sample is found to be impure or fraudulent, strict measures will be taken. Those who do not abide by the agreements will be publicly exposed. This is essential in order to eliminate scams and deception from the iboga community.
